Beyond Hope

Beyond Hope, the sequel to 1994's Hackers On Planet Earth conference,
will be held in New York City on August 8, 9, and 10 in conjunctionwith Holland's H.I.P. conference.

Over 1,000 hackers from around the world are expected to attendcovering topics from military intelligence to phone phreaking tosocial engineering to the latest hacker exploits. In addition, anetwork will be created with links to the outside world so that hackerscan join hands around the globe and so that newcomers can get theirfirst glimpse of the Internet through the eyes of hackers. Anyone isinvited to come and bring a computer to link up to the network.
This is expected to be the largest hacker gathering in the Western Hemisphere in years. To help create more of an international flavor,admission is free for anyone with a foreign passport.The conference is held in conjunction with 2600 Magazine, the world'soldest and largest hacker magazine. Participants of the 1994 eventstill describe it as one of the most memorable and educational ofall hacker events.
